Havana - Santa Clara
DAY 1. Breakfast. Pick-up at the hotel. Departure to Santa Clara, a city located in the center of the island of Cuba. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit to the Comandante Ernesto Che Guevara Sculpture Complex to admire the different moments of the life and work of the Heroic Guerrilla. Tour of the Historical and Cultural Center of the city, stopping at Leoncio Vidal Park, with panoramic views of the La Caridad Theater, the Museum of Decorative Arts and the old Government Palace. The panoramic tour continues through Santa Clara, passing by Parque del Carmen, where the founding mass of the city was offered. Visit to the Armored Train monument, in historical memory of one of the most important actions carried out during the revolutionary struggle. Visit to the work of the Basque artist Casto Solano known as “Che de los niños”, a 2-meter-high sculpture that allows the exchange with this important Cuban-Argentine historical figure. Santa Clara - Trinidad
DAY 2. Breakfast at the hotel. City tour of Trinidad, known as the Jewel of Cuba or Museum City and one of the most complete and preserved architectural complexes on the American continent. Walk through its streets to admire its Spanish colonial architecture, which gives the impression of having stopped in the 18th and 19th centuries. Visit to the Plaza Mayor, the Romantic Museum and the Canchánchara Bar where you can taste its typical welcome cocktail and listen to traditional Trinidadian music live. Visit to the Potter's House to admire one of the oldest traditions of the city in the workshop of the founding family. Lunch at a local restaurant. Accommodation and dinner at the confirmed hotel. Trinidad - Topes de Collantes - Cienfuegos.
DAY 3. Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to El Cubano Park, located at the foot of the Topes de Collantes National Park. During the trip, take a panoramic tour of the Escambray Mountains, one of the most important mountain ranges in the country, passing through Manicaragua, a settlement of communities of growers of the famous Cuban tobacco and delicious coffee. El Cubano Park is a pleasant place to meet nature, adventure and history, where natural landscapes with rich native flora and fauna prevail, inviting you to enjoy activities such as hiking, bird watching, bathing in waterfalls and crystal-clear pools. The program includes the “Traces of History” trail that leads to the always refreshing Salto de Javira and lunch at Ranchón El Cubano, specialized in traditional Cuban food. Optional activities on site include horseback riding and the Canopy Tour with an attractive route above the Guaurabo River. At the end, departure to the city of Cienfuegos, known as the Pearl of the South and which reveals the splendor of a culture strongly influenced by its French founders. Walk from the Prado, along the boulevard to Martí Park. Tour of Punta Gorda with a visit to the Palacio de Valle where you will learn about the beautiful legend associated with its construction. Cienfuegos- Guama- Varadero y/o Havana
DAY 4. Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Guamá, located on the Zapata Peninsula, Matanzas province. In transit, visit the Playa Girón Museum dedicated to the battle fought by the Cuban people against the mercenaries in this region. Continuation of the trip to the town of Guamá, with a visit to the Crocodile Farm, to appreciate part of the typical fauna of the region. Visit to the Taino Village with a nautical tour of 8 km until reaching the sculptural group made by the famous Cuban artist Rita Longa that represents the culture of the Cuban aborigines, in addition to appreciating a hotel with a different structure that coexists in harmony with the environment. Travel documentation
